Last year Neighbor Ride provided 16,974 rides to Howard County Seniors due to the generosity of our fabulous volunteers. To meet the growing demand as the population ages,recruiting and retaining volunteers is our top priority. Have you resolved to make a difference? It is very easy and fulfilling to volunteer for Neighbor Ride. Please view our videos or our testimonials.
Flexible daytime, evening and weekend rides are available. We ask that you commit to drive only twice a month, choosing the rides that fit your work or personal schedule and are convenient to your home, office or daily routines. No set schedule is required. The first step is to attend Orientation. Programs are held every Tuesday morning at 9:30 am. There will be additional evening/weekend sessions on Wednesday, June 5 at 6:00 pm, Saturday, June 22 at 10:00 am, and Wednesday, July 10 at 7:00 pm.
